To provide a more favourable centre of gravity the four-stroke motors have been tilted slightly and the front sprocket has also been lowered. The four four-stroke bikes also boast an optional traction control feature, which could come in very handy as you tackle such varied terrain during an off-road outing.
Again, I found them all to be very impressive but for me the 350 came out on top. It just did everything I wanted it to. I ended up turning off traction control and riding most of the day in map two and it was just awesome, much like the 250 two-stroke you were able to pop the front wheel up on command. It had that bottom end pop, but it would also lug up a long hill nicely as well. It was a pleasure to ride and I really did enjoy my time on the 350.

As an industry first, the suspension at both ends remains fully adjustable for compression and damping by way of hand clickers, without the need for any tools, and easy set preload adjustability on the rear. An all-new lightweight 2-piece subframe, constructed from a combination of polyamide and reinforced aluminum, delivers outstanding handling and rider feedback, as well as remarkable robustness. All electronic components, including an all-new Offroad Control Unit, are fully integrated into the subframe for easy access and improved protection.

This new design avoids fuel excess in extreme up- or downhill sections, which could lead to the fuelling running rich. A beneficial side effect of the new electronic fuel injection and the ECU is implementing the new electronic exhaust control, allowing for two different engine maps, selectable via an optional Map Select switch. All models in the four-stroke range benefit from class-winning engines, engineered to deliver massive torque down low with an explosive power delivery at higher RPMs. Together with the benefits of mass centralisation and reduced weight, the anti-squat behaviour of the chassis was significantly improved, making for improved traction on extreme inclines and powering out of corners in special enduro stages. The latter makes for clutchless upshifts from second to sixth gear, allowing riders to keep the throttle pinned open while changing through the gears for improved control.

Да и стоять на нем не очень удобно. Руль далеко внизу.
Я поставил проставки — стало приемлимо. Хорошо хоть не как на триале : Да и не уедете вы на нем далеко. Бак-то всего 5 литров. Другое дело что лично я накатав за день 50 км по карьеру в основном на 1-2 скорости сжег меньше половины. Инжектор и НЕ «крутильный» характер мотора умеривают аппетит. Но я не думаю что он проедет больше 120 км на одном баке.
Ну что тут сказать… Это 2Т : По сравнению с 4Т Фрирайдом он ощутимо мощнее и как любой 2Т очень быстро раскручивается. Что позволяет «выстреливать» мотоцикл со сцепления ощутимо быстрее. При этом двигатель низовой. Без «мощностного клапана» — как триальный. Но не с таким огромным маховиком как на триальном мотоцикле. За исключением триала.
Он на 7 кг легче. Масса с жижами без бензина всего 92,5 кг. И эти 7 кг отчетливо чувствуются. Клиренс выше. Подножки еще выше. Который все еще невероятно управляем.
Но и новичка я бы на него уже не посадил. Что бы выбрал я? Freeride 250R 2Т. Почему купил 4Т? Тут еще один ньюанс. Будучи новым 2Т дешевле.
Однако на данный момент БУ фрит уже можно купить за 200-250 тыс. А 2Т будет сложно найти дешевле 350 тыс.
